"No one can see your visions and dreams as clearly as you can. Purpose is the key to creation, manifested through vision!"

"If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life
moving, you lose that courage to be, that quality that helps you go
on in spite of it all. And so today I still have a dream."
 -Martin Luther King, Jr.

We are at a pivotal crossroad in our lives where we see an
increase of major events occurring locally, nationally and globally,
affecting the outlook of our future and the future of generations to follow.
Everyday we see, run into or hear reports of drastic cases of hopelessness displayed through senseless acts of violence, crimes of nature, homelessness, prescription or illegal drug abuse, alcohol addiction, suicide or homicide. It's difficult to remain optimistic when you experience a job loss or financial ruin, face a health related, life altering diagnosis from your doctor, experience betrayal or abandonment by a loved one, face the debilitation of depression, have more month than money or when grief knows your house all too well.

Change brings adjustment, whether good or bad. Our adaptability in watching, waiting or making things happen, depend on environmental factors, as well as individual mindsets. This journey is not one of solidarity, although solitude is needed from time to time for spiritual reflection. Often we find ourselves trying to solve some mega issues by ourselves, when we really need somebody to lean on. John Donne, 17th Century English Metaphysical Poet, included the following in his composition of Meditation XVII:
"No man is an island, entire of itself...any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee."
Essentially, Donne's idea reverberated that people are not isolated from one another, but that mankind is interconnected.

And so, we forge ahead with a pinch of trepidation, an appetizer of anticipation, an entrée of inspiration and a dessert of determination. The voice of diversity is birthed from the human spirit. The elements of individuality are portrayed through life's experiences; not always necessarily your own. What's planted in your heart will harvest the true spirit of your soul.

Whatever your dreams and visions may be, you must be determined to achieve them with excellency! When you operate in "your" gift, no one will need to continuously motivate or force you into taking action. Your call to action may require you to re-prioritize some things in your life or to simply "let some things go" that will thwart your aptitude and growth potential. As always, in your quest for greater aspirations, whether it's spiritual, mental, physical or emotional, continue to do things ethically, even if it seems like nothing is progressing immediately. Hold on to peace and joy within your soul. If you feel hopeless, then you've given up. Hope is the fuel that keeps you from ever giving up and energizes you to continue forging ahead!

Every Day is a Day of Celebration!

Throughout the year, we should continue to celebrate, give, share, embrace and encourage. Let's not ever wait for a specified time, day or month to enjoy life! As long as we live, we will all face challenges in one form or another that may seem too insurmountable to conquer. Perhaps we need to stand back, reevaluate what things should stay and what things, situations or people need to be eliminated, that have adverse affects or negative influences on our spirits. Keep the faith, while continuing to ethically strive for excellence.

If you are blessed to wake up and witness a brand new day, whether it's sunny, rainy, windy, snowing or storming, embrace it! Don't waste an opportunity to be a blessing and to be blessed. So laugh, dance, love and embrace life with passion. If you haven't told someone that you love them recently, do so before the opportunity passes by forever. You can never turn back the hands of time, but you can handle your time productively and wisely going forward! Life is not too short, but too precious to allow chaos, confusion, mediocrity, idleness, strongholds and ongoing negativity to keep you in bondage.

Keep joy in your heart and peace in your spirit!
